North Korean soldier defects across the DMZ, South Korea says
The South Korean military detained a North Korean soldier who crossed the heavily fortified demilitarized zone (DMZ) that separates the two countries, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JSC) said on Thursday.
